According to Nile Post in a cabinet meeting early on Monday ,president Museveni has been advised to extend lockdown for one more week.
This is in line to prepare the lifting of strict restrictions mainly allowing public transport and private cars to operate with limited numbers.
Its believed a curfew will stay in place and boda boda riders will also operate with only one passenger .
Uganda is currently facing an increase in coronavirus cases , by press time 248 covid-19 cases were recorded.
