The Bukimbiri County Member of Parliament Eddie Kwizera collapsed today in a full-packed Uganda parliament.
The Man from Bukimbiri Kisoro district collapsed as members converged to elect members of the East African Legislative Assembly.
As the campaigns are ongoing for EALA contestants’ campaign then after voting will take place today.
His fellow MPs rushed to help a lifeless MP Kwizera before carrying him to receive first aid.
Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa who is chairing the house ordered the Sergeant at arms to ensure that the MP is attended to quickly and ensure he is safe.
