The Chairman of the Uganda Kings and Cultural Leaders Forum, Isabarongo Mwatansozi Mwogezi Butamanya, will on Wednesday, March 25, 2025, pay an official visit to the King of Alur, His Royal Highness Philip Olarker Rauni III.
In a brief press release issued on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, by Alur Kingdom spokesperson David Rupiny, it was clarified that the visit will be a private, one-on-one engagement with no public participation.
“Contrary to earlier communications, there will be no cultural ceremonies or public address, as the visit is strictly a one-on-one engagement without public involvement,” Rupiny stated.
The Chairman, who also serves as the cultural leader (Isabaruuli) of Buruuli, will meet with Ubimu Rauni III at his royal court in Dye-Winam, Atyak.
The Isabaruuli’s visit, in his official capacity as Chair of the Uganda Kings and Cultural Leaders Forum (UKCLF)—a registered entity of which both leaders are pioneers—aims to discuss development matters of mutual interest.
