Kanyanya Man Wins 2nd Electric Vehicle in City Tyres LingLong Draw

In a remarkable twist of fate, Mr. Godfrey Kyeyune, a resident of Kanyanya in Kampala, has become the second lucky winner of an electric vehicle (EV) in the ongoing City Tyres LingLong promotion. The draw, which took place today at the City Tyres offices on 6th Street in the Industrial Area, continues to make headlines for its generosity and focus on rewarding loyal customers.

The promotional event saw thousands of City Oil customers, who purchased LingLong tyres from various City Oil fuel stations, participate through coupons issued during their purchases. The excitement was palpable as customers awaited the announcement of the lucky winner.

The highlight of the day came when Hon. Dusan Okee, the Guest of Honour, selected Mr. Kyeyune’s coupon from the thousands collected across City Oil fuel stations. The event was presided over by Mr. Tim Yin, the LingLong Africa Director, alongside other distinguished guests and company representatives.

Mr. Kyeyune will officially receive his brand-new electric vehicle this Saturday at a grand handover ceremony set to take place at the Kiira City Oil grounds. Speaking about the win, Mr. Kyeyune expressed his overwhelming gratitude to City Tyres and LingLong for the life-changing opportunity.

In his speech, Mr. Tim Yin, the LingLong Africa Director, highlighted that this promotion is not just a marketing strategy but also part of LingLong’s efforts to give back to their loyal customers. He emphasized that the event is a pilot project aimed at fostering the adoption of environmentally friendly electric vehicle technology in East Africa.

“This initiative represents LingLong’s commitment to sustainability and environmental consciousness. We want to thank our customers for their continued support and encourage them to embrace EV technology for a cleaner and greener future,” Mr. Yin stated.

The Guest of Honour, Hon. Dusan Okee, commended City Tyres and LingLong for their commitment to customer satisfaction. He noted that such events build trust and loyalty between companies and their customers.

“City Tyres and LingLong have shown that they care deeply about their customers. I encourage everyone to continue using LingLong tyres and other City Oil products, which have proven to be reliable, durable, and of the highest quality,” Hon. Okee remarked.

Other Winners Celebrated

The event also recognized several other participants who walked away with various prizes. These included:

  1. First Winner: Nabisalu Asiah from Bombo Road Branch won free wheel alignment and balancing services.
  2. Second Winner: Ibrahim from Nakawa received free fuel worth UGX 100,000, redeemable at any City Oil fuel station.
  3. Third Winner: Josephine from Bombo Road won a carton of wheat and maize flour.
  4. Fourth Winner: Eric Okot from Bombo Road was awarded free vehicle service.

City Tyres and LingLong have set a high benchmark for customer appreciation through this promotion. By combining rewards with a focus on sustainability, the companies are not only enhancing their brand reputation but also contributing to the future of mobility in East Africa.

The promotion has been widely lauded for its transparency and inclusiveness, with many participants eagerly awaiting the next draw.

As Mr. Kyeyune prepares to receive his electric vehicle this weekend, the event has generated immense excitement among City Tyres customers and the general public. LingLong and City Tyres have once again demonstrated their dedication to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, setting a precedent for other companies in the region.
