Nebbi’s Goli Health Center  IV wins quality services award 2024

Goli Health Centre IV under Nebbi Diocese Church of Uganda   in Nebbi district,  has been honored with a prestigious certificate of quality services award on December 5, 2024.

The award was presented in capital  Kampala on Thursday  by Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau, which is a coordinating apex for the Protestant Health Services in Uganda which is  a network of 330 faith-based health institutions in the country.

Dr. Jetho Okoni, the In charge Goli health center IV  received the award on behalf of the institution.

The  news sounds  as a good music to the ears of many locals, whom  this facility serves as the only run-to medical center incase of emergency.

Nebbi Diocesan Secretary Rev. Can. Ungi Christopher, acknowledged the award, highlighting how services has recently   improved at the facility.

The staff at the facility are being commended for their all- year round relentless efforts  of steadying services at the facility.

The retired Archbishop of the Church of Uganda  Dr. Henry Luke Orombi,  in regard to the award  ecstatically  said “We are excited to hear good things coming out of our own Health centre. There are many of them under UMPB yet we have been recognized. Keep it up” 

Founded in 1957 to serve as a liaison between the Government of Uganda, donors and member hospitals, Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau now serves as a National umbrella organization with a wider mandate and membership from all over the country.

Goli Health Centre IV  is a Private Not For Profit Unit under Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau found in Nebbi Diocese Church of Uganda founded more than 5 decades ago.

The facility serves myriads of community from  the Districts of Nebbi, Zombo and community from the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
