Ateker Reunion Cultural Festival: President Museveni to Grace event alongside Global Dignitaries in Soroti

The event will feature President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as the chief guest, along with an impressive lineup of international dignitaries, including the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, the Vice President of Cuba, and delegations from Russia, Kenya, Tanzania, and other nations.

In a press statement, Hon. Betty Amongi, Minister for Labour, Gender, and Social Development at the Uganda Media Centre, she emphasized the significance of this year’s festival. She described it as a unique opportunity to celebrate the cultural heritage of the Ateker people while fostering unity and strengthening international ties.

“The Ateker Reunion Cultural Festival is not only about cultural pride but also about building bridges within and beyond our borders. It brings together communities and global leaders to engage in meaningful conversations on peace, development, and cultural preservation,” Hon. Amongi remarked.
