By Mike Rwothomio and Lee Ofoymungu.

Nebbi Central FC grabbed maximum 3 points after edging visiting Paidha United SC 2-1 at Luo grounds on Sunday afternoon, in a tight West Nile regional league encounter.

Nebbi central player David Ocircan alias Ganacho,  put the home side ahead a minute into the game, after firing a thunderbolt volley past Paidha United goalie Herbert Ofoyrwoth,  upping the game tempo in a  fully packed “luo grounds”.

The half-time ended in favor of Nebbi central ,  with Paidha United looking dominant  in the middle of the pack, but Nebbi central exhibited a spirited fight in the defensive line,  denying Paidha United forwards several chances.

In the beginning of the second half, David Ocircan alias Ganacho again double the score line, after  firing another thunderbolt past a united goalie out side the box,  slimming United chance of salvaging a point in the game.

Deep in the second half,  Cwinyaai Francis, a united winger missed a glorious chance after blowing a volley off target, just 10 meters away from Nebbi central goal keeper Nickson  Otema.

Paidha United winger Ronald Ogencan later  revived United hope after putting the ball past the  home side  goalie Nickson Otema , upping ambiance in the second half neck and neck encounter.

But Fans plus a couple of Paidha United officials have blamed fourth officials who took charge of the game  , voicing allegations of  “biasness”.

This after Ronald Ogencan goal was ruled for offside, triggering mix reactions from the visiting side.

Other fans have blamed the regional league body for  putting home based referees with conflict of interest  to officiate home games.

The game that started peacefully later came to a halt for some minutes, after the center referee sent off one of Paidha United media team amidst mounting poor officiation allegations by the visiting side. Security were later sanctioned to restore sanity in the game.

Match officials were unavailable for comments as they were surrounded by security to shield them from  any possible chaos.

Nebbi central FC came into the game, upon suffering a 1-0 defeat away to  Zombo based side Padea Rising stars last week.
