The  truck with Registration No. UAP 846 P, was  transporting people from Paidha Sub-County to  Paidha Main  Market in Paidha town council.

Eyewitnesses blamed the incident on overloading ,  poor mechanical condition of the truck and also the deplorable state of road.

The LCIII chairperson of Paidha Sub-County William Okethi, confirmed the incident saying ” we haven’t got any report of fatalities but many people were critically injured”

When this Publication visited the office of Zombo District Traffic Police department, details about the number of casualties were scanty, since officers were at the crime scene to ascertain the cause of the harrowing incident.
