Isaac Ssemakadde: A new era for Uganda’s Legal Profession

In a milestone moment for Uganda’s legal community, Isaac Ssemakadde, a seasoned human rights lawyer, has taken the reins as President of the Uganda Law Society (ULS). This significant development heralds a new chapter in the country’s quest for justice and equality.

Ssemakadde’s journey to the ULS presidency has been marked by his unwavering commitment to social justice and human rights. His expertise in constitutional law has earned him recognition as a champion of justice, and his dedication to mentoring young lawyers has inspired a new generation of legal professionals.

Under his leadership, the ULS is expected to prioritize three key areas:
