Ugandan legal luminary Prof. Kiddu Makubuya passes away

Prof. Kiddu Makubuya, a distinguished former Attorney General and Member of Parliament passed away at 75 years old.

Family sources confirmed his death and has been met with widespread mourning across Uganda’s legal fraternity.

Prof. Makubuya, a prominent figure in Ugandan law and politics, profoundly impacted the country’s legal landscape. Appointed as Attorney General by President Museveni, he played a crucial role in shaping legal reforms and advocating for justice throughout his tenure. His expertise and dedication to the rule of law earned him respect both nationally and internationally.
