Young girls found alone in Mpigi: Community rallies to reunite them with family

In a heart-wrenching turn of events, two young girls were discovered wandering the streets of Kyambizzi-Bulansuku village in Kiringente sub-County, Mpigi district, desperately searching for their parents. Whisper Eye Reports

The girls, identified as Nampiima Varneser, approximately five years old, and Nakibirango Nisha, about eight years old, were found by concerned residents who immediately alerted authorities.

According to Nakibirango, the girls claim to have come from Jokolera village, although they possess limited information about their family.

The only name they recall is that of their father, known as Isma. Stranded and bewildered, the girls’ plight tugged at the heartstrings of the local community.

Taking swift action, the chairman of Kyambizzi ensured the girls’ safety by escorting them to the CPS Katonga Region police station in Mpigi Town Council. The authorities are now coordinating efforts to locate the girls’ parents or guardians.

An urgent appeal has been issued to the public by local officials, urging anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of the girls’ parents to come forward.

The hope is that with the community’s assistance, the girls can be reunited with their families and find solace amidst this distressing ordeal.
