A reliable source close to Kavule based political party, the National Unity Platform (NUP) intimated to Whisper Eye News, that hon Ssenyonyi to lead a team of NUP leaders to buy Kabaka’s Birthday run jerseys worthy millions of money.

“According to the prevailing situation, out Party had been branded anti-Buganda with is not the case. We have issues with Buganda Kingdom,” says the source.

“It’s the very reason that we have decided to support the Kabaka’s Birthday Run program with a contribution of buying jerseys to show out support to the efforts of the Kingdom in fighting HIV/AIDs in the country,” he said.

There’s a belief that some leaders in NUP are behind social media blogs who claims to be supporters of NUP who keep on insulting top Mengo leaders including Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga, and at times Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi and Nabagereka Sylvia Nagginda.

The ongoing fight between former Leader of Opposition (LoP), Nyendo-Mukungwe legislator Owekitiibwa Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba who doubles as the Commissioner of Parliament and NUP top leaders is thought to have widened the gap between Mengo and the Party.
