UPC expresses confidence ahead of Dokolo Woman MP seat elections

As the campaign period concludes for the Dokolo Woman MP seat elections, the Uganda Peoples Congress (UPC) extends its gratitude to the people of Dokolo for their overwhelming support shown at every campaign ground.

Led by Party President Hon. Jimmy Akena, members of parliament, party leaders, and the entire membership, UPC acknowledges the unity and comradeship displayed in canvassing for comrade Sarah Aguti Nyangkori for the Dokolo District Member of Parliament seat.

In a press statement issued today, UPC emphasized their belief in Nyangkori as the best candidate to lead the people of Dokolo. The party highlighted the successful campaign that effectively communicated their manifesto to the electorate. With the election scheduled for March 21, 2024, UPC calls upon all citizens of Dokolo to turn out in large numbers and cast their votes for Nyangkori.

Furthermore, UPC underscores their commitment to ensuring that every vote is counted and protected, urging voters to remain vigilant and report any instances of rigging. The party has identified and trained agents and observers to safeguard the integrity of the electoral process.

UPC also issued a stern warning against election malpractices, urging all stakeholders, including the Independent Electoral Commission, political parties, security agencies, and candidates, to refrain from unlawful activities such as violence and ballot stuffing.

Party President Hon. Jimmy Akena emphasized his dedication to securing a fair election, pledging not to leave Dokolo until the last vote is cast and counted.

In conclusion, UPC calls upon all members of Dokolo to participate in the election process and vote for Comrade Sarah Aguti Nyangkori as the next District Woman Member of Parliament.

The party expresses confidence in securing victory and vows to ensure that every vote contributes to the development and service delivery in Dokolo district.
