Exclusive: Gen Tumukunde lining up his son for Nakaseke North dormant MP seat

Exclusive: Gen Tumukunde is lining up his son for Mp Nakaseke North

The son of Gen Henry Tumukunde, Tumukunde Philip Ndamira is preparing him self to oust Nakaseke North mute MP Nyongore Enock come 2026.

A reliable source, close to Gen Tumukunde intimated to Whisper Eye News that Mr Ndamira is set to contest for the seat in the coming parliamentary elections.

Residents of Nakaseke County North, say they have not benefited from Hon Nyongore who is little known even in his county.

“We don’t know our MPs, and we have never heard him representing us in the 11th parliament. I don’t where he is hiding,” a resident said.

Political analysts say that it will be a hard task for Hon Nyongore to retain his seat in 2026 given the fact that he has not performed well, despite the fact that he won the seat unopposed in 2021 on NRM ticket.

Gen Tumukunde’s son is educated with a vast experience in banking, who was once an employee of Standard Chartered Bank UK. And having connections, especially in the diaspora.
