Pakwach Young Stars Football Club continue with their winning ways away from home after a narrow 0-1 victory over Zeu Central FC in the West Nile Regional League second league encounter at Zeu Police ground on Saturday afternoon.
Odong Alphonse scored the only goal in the game to hand Pakwach Young Stars FC their 9th win this campaign.
The winning goal came just after 35th minutes when Odong tapped in from a corner kick to condemn Zeu Central FC to their 8th defeat of the season.
The Victory lifts Pakwach Young Stars to the 1st place in the West Nile Regional League League log standings in Nyagak Zone with 29 points from 12 games , while Zeu Central FC remain in third place from the bottom of the log with 10 points after 12 games.
Pakwach Young Stars FC will be back in action on March 3rd to host Nebbi Central FC at St Mary’s Bar Omach in Pakwach Town Council, while Zeu Central FC will visit Arua City FC at Green light Stadium Arua on Sunday 3rd March.
The “believers” continue with their flying run upon clinching a spot in the 16 round of Uganda Cup after thumping the Uganda Premier league side Wakiso Giants 2-1 infront of their home fans last week in Pakwach Town Council.
