Nebbi Boda boda man found dead  in a stream

Locals in The cell of Akuru Bridge North, Pamora ward,  Nyaravur Angal Town Council Nebbi District have discovered the body of a boda boda rider in  Akuru stream yesterday.

The LC1 chairperson of Akuru Bridge North John Ochan confirmed the incident to whispereye news saying “The body was discovered in Akuru stream with a motorcycle and four bags of cement he was transporting”.

Ochan alleged that the deceased who was travelling from Nyaravur Trading Center towards Parombo Town Council direction “lost control and plunged into the stream as he was trying to dodge a pothole near the Akuru footbridge”.

Eyewitnesses blamed the incident on overloading that led to the deceased plunging into the stream and hitting his chest on the stones in the stream.

Upon learning of his death, The relatives immediately rushed to the scene,  retrieved the body and  rushed with it to their ancestral home In Parombo Town Council before Police’s arrival.

The deceased clear identity was unknown by press time.
