In a bid to honour The Late Rasul Oryem, The Paidha Black Angles SC Finance Director who died at Mulago National Referral Hospital on Tuesday 12th December 2023, The Westnile regional football association has issued a directive about the observance of a minute of silence before all their league matches this week. The statement was issued on the 14th of December 2023.
” before kick-off, all Regional league matches this week, a minute of silence will be observed to honour and pray for his soul” The statement signed by Mozes Keuber, The General Secretary of Westnile Regional Football Association reads in part.
The Association described the former Paidha Black Angels SC Chairperson as a dedicated person ” who used his time and resources to develop and promote football in our region after serving Paidha Black Angels SC in different capacities”
The Deceased whose body was welcomed by hundreds in Paidha Town Council was briefly taken to Bar Okoro Stadium for people of all walks of life to pay him their last respect.
He was also the chairperson Paidha Boda Boda Association and the vice chairperson for the Zombo and Westnile Boda Boda Association.
He was buried today at Omua Ward Paidha Town Council Zombo District.
