Gen Muhoozi, wife Charlotte grace fundraising event of Bishops Girls School Rushere

The Chairman of the MK Movement Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has this evening together with his wife Charlotte Muhoozi graced the fundraising event of Bishops Girls School Rushere that was aimed at collecting funds for the construction of the school’s main Hall.

The fruitful event has taken place at Protea Hotel in Kampala where hundreds gathered including OGs to forge means of raising atleast 900 million Ugandan shillings which happens to be the estimated cost for the construction of the school’s main hall.

Speaking at the event, Gen Muhoozi stressed out the role of education in the life of citizens especially the girl child adding that such dedications will pave a way for a clear future of the mothers of this nation.

The 4 star General also encouraged those in attendance not only to fundraising for Bishops Girls School Rushere but always to give a hand even to others Schools in the country that may need similar help.

The hall is expected to provide a conducive environment for students for their studies as well provide ample space for other school activities like MDD, prayers and orientation sessions.

For some time now, Gen Muhoozi has been in the limelight especially after the 4 star General declared his interest in becoming the next President of Uganda after his father Gen Yoweri Museveni.

Besides his political ambitions, its not the first time he has participated in similar fundraising activities. Earlier this year, he contributed 20 million shillings towards the renovation of a church in Mbale. He has also been at the fore front of improving the road infrastructure in the country’s capital city Kampala.
