MK Movement contributes 20M shillings towards Busoga Royal Wedding

On Monday 13th November, the MK Movement joined thousands of organizations and companies that have contributed to the long waited Busoga Royal wedding between the Kyabazinga and his dear wife.

The MK Movement was represented by it’s CEC members led by Hon Lillian Aber National Vice Chairperson Nothern region, Mr Frank Gashumba National Vice Chairperson Central region, Dr. Balaam Barugahara National Vice Chairperson Western Region, among others on behalf of the movement’s Chairman Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

The Movement vowed to continue working with the people of Busoga even beyond the coming royal wedding. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba is also expected to attend the royal wedding.

The brown envelope was received by the Katukiro of Busoga Dr Joseph Muvawala who was accompanied by his Deputy and other dignitaries from the Kingdom at Sheraton Hotel in Kampala. The Katukiro thanked the MK Movement and its leader Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba for taking the initiative to contribute to the royal wedding.

He added that the MK Movement is a people’s centered movement that is doing great work for the people of Uganda asking them to continue doing so because their works are impactful.

The Busoga Royal wedding will take place on the 18th of November where thousands of people are expected to attended what is likely to be the wedding of the decade.
