UYD candidate Mwebesa Reagan wins Kyambogo guild presidency

DP President Norbert Mao led Uganda Young Democrat candidate Mwebesa Reagan wins Kyambogo University guild presidency.

In a hotly contested guild presidency, Democratic Party youthful wing commonly known as Uganda Young Democrats championed their own Mwebesa Reagan to defeat five candidates for the top students political leadership at the Banda based University.

By Press time Mwebesa Reagan was declared winer after gathering 3040 votes.

Speaking to Whisper Eye this morning , Mwebesa Reagan thanked university students for considering him as their leader.

His closest contestant was Nakayenga Samuel of National Unity Platform who scored 2754 votes.
