President Museveni commissions new Tororo Cement Vertical Rolling Mill Plant

Cement leading company Tororo Cement unveiled a state of Art Cement Vertical rolling mill plant.

It was commissioned by President Museveni who was also accompanied by his wife Janet Museveni.

The plant is poised to make a substantial impact on cement production in Uganda, with the capacity to add 1.2 million tons annually to the existing 2.8 million tons.

With the aim to manufacture and market products in East and Central Africa.
President Museveni extended his sincere gratitude to Tororo Cement Ltd.

He looks forward to a sustained partnership between the private sector and the government to jointly strive to enhance the quality of life for all Ugandans.
