Just In: Journalist Kasirye Ashraf undergoes surgery, says Rubongoya

The National Unity Platform (NUP) Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya @DavidLRubongoya , says Ghetto TV journalist Kasirye Ashraf @ashrafk112 has undergone major surgery in the US following a head injury he sustained during the notorious 2021 Uganda presidential elections. #WhisperEyeNews

Kasirye Ashraf a media man attached to Pro-Bobi Wine Ghetto TV, on 27th December 2020 while in Masaka covering Bobi Wine Presidential campaigns was assaulted by security forces who fired live bullets among teargas canisters that saw the later hit his head leaving him for dead.

He was operated successfully from Rubaga Hospital until he left for the USA for further medical attention.

Now David Lewis says, Kasirye Ashraf’s condition stays stable.

According to David Lewis a Harvard graduate, Ghetto TV Journalist Ashraf Kasirye has undergone a must surgery operation in the United States of America.

“Our friend, brother and comrade Kasirye Ashraf Miracle underwent a major cranioplasty surgery yesterday in the U.S. where the medical team is doing its best to repair his skull. As we all remember, on that dark day, a regime operative aimed a projectile at his head which broke his skull. There was little hope for him to survive those first days, but SEE WHAT GOD CAN DO.!”, revealed Lewis.

“They intended to finish him off, but God had other plans. We thank God that he came out of the theater alive. We thank the medical team for the skill. We shall continue praying for a full recovery, and yes, we shall continue praying that one day, the perpetrators of these crimes against humanity will face justice”, he added.

Mr Kasirye yesterday took to X (formerly Twitter) to say, ” The DAY is today. SO, HELP ME, GOD

(All I need are your prayers, dear lovedones)”

At Whisper Eye we wish Kasirye a quick recovery.
