Missing person: Shock as community discovers decomposed body after one week

The decomposed body of a man was discovered by locals sending a feeling of anxiety in Zombo District.

The deceased was only identified as Ukwaimungu  38, a resident of Awuju, Thanga Parish Abanga sub county Zombo district.

His body was discovered by locals in the nearby bush in his same village of residence on the morning of 29 August.

Local leaders say he went missing a week ago.

His uncle Lenga Urengu said they informed police from Pakadha Police Post who are yet to visit the crime scene.

” His body was discovered this morning as the smell started coming out, it’s not clear how he died, he was with a  sound Mind and was a calm person,” He said 

The firm lead about his death remains unclear.

Uganda Police are yet to visit the crime scene.

This come a week after the body of a man was discovered in a valley in Alangi Sub_County Zombo District.
