Residents of Pasaye Parish in Alangi sub county Zombo District,  were up to a rude awakening experience after the body of a 58 old man was found in a valley in Alangi village.

The deceased who was a resident of Kulimaw village Pasay Parish was identified as Kounzu Kidikpa aged 58.

Apparently, there’s no clear firm lead about his death.

Selemia Okila, a brother to the deceased said ” my brother was found lying in a stream and had no torture marks, we don’t know what happened to him”.

He also added that ” his head was in the waters and other parts of his body was outside, I still can’t believe that he can just fall and die like that in that small stream”.

By press time, police had visited the crime scene according to the area LC1 Chairperson only identified as Onen, who noted that ” the body was later handed back to the family members for burial”.

There has been a string of reported murder incidents in greater Nebbi lately.

Many locals say Authorities should up their level of community policing on the security situation in the area
