UPDF officer  dies after ramming into a stationary truck

He was  a resident of Jupandika in Paidha Town Council Zombo District,  died on spot on the 17th of August evening, after he rammed into a stationary Danger petroleum truck with registration no KBH273J , at Goli Boma East Village, Jupangira Sub county Nebbi district.

According to the LC 1 chairperson of Goli Border Boma East Village Abok Kayomba,  the deceased was coming back to Uganda from DR Congo.

He said ” the deceased rammed into a stationary truck. He was taken to Goli health center IV and died 30 minutes later, we Condoled with the bereaved family”.

He also blamed the incident on narrow status of roads in the area.

The unidentified driver of the truck had reportedly  escaped the accident scene to unkown destination.

By press time his body was taken from Goli health center IV to  Nebbi General hospital Mortuary.
