COSASE has handed over city lawyer, Patrick Kiconco Katabaazi to Parliament Police, over accusations of misappropriating Shs39Bn

According to COSASE Lawyer Kiconco Patrick Katabassi has been accused of misappropriating UGX 39 billions , money he got from NAADS to pay tea farmers.

Reports indicate Patrick Kiconco Katabaazi trading with law firm Pathway Advocates allegedly said he paired Farmers their full amounts according to his accountability reports to NAADS which wasn’t the case.

Mr Patrick Kiconco Katabaazi accountability to NAADs claimed to have paid Sirajje Mastiko Shs150,928,485 but the farmer’s bank statement showed only Shs105M was received.

In another twist, lawyer Kiconco reported to have paid a farmer named Henry Tukahirwa Shs24,298,160, but on the same day, Shs22,417,559 was debited back to the law firm’s account, and the farmer only ended up receiving Shs11M.
