Sad News: Mother kills 4-month-old own baby, boils her pieces

Unpleasant news reaching our desk indicate that a mother has killed her four month old old Baby.

In its daily briefly Uganda police reports that the Territorial Police in North West Nile Region and Yumbe district, charged a mother identified as Nadio Manjubo, aged 24 and resident of Chamanikua village, Yayari parish, Lovi sub-county in Yumbe district, for the horrific murder by hacking into pieces of her 4 month old son, Angelo Buga on the 19.07.2023 at 4pm.

According to police , the said mother , afterwards, stuffed the body pieces in a saucepan, and boiled them claiming she felt like eating meat.

The mother has since appeared before Yumbe court and she was remanded to Yumbe prison on the 21.07.2023 for murder.

“To cut and dismember an innocent child into pieces is absolutely horrific”, police Spokesperson CP Enaga wondered.

The crime scene was so disturbing and shows how some parents have lost sense of humanity and love for their children, he added.

Police has urged all parents in challenging domestic settings, to always seek help from the Child and Family Protection Unit, the nearest police station or other child rights defender.

“It is painful that the 4 month old son, died from the hands of a mother, who was supposed to keep him SAFE” SCP Enanga Fred continued to say.
