Exiled government critic Mr Kakwenza Rukirabashaija has turned guns to the opposition criticising those who keep oscillating from one party to another as they look for ways of securing political seats. #WhisperEyeNews
This time, the FDC die-hard has attacked the former Jinja East Member of Parliament Hon Paul Mwiru who was late this week unveiled as a new member of the National Unity Platform after dumping the Alliance for National Transformation.
Kakwenza said Paul Mwiru is a meal card politician simply looking for all avenues to make it to parliament and may soon leave NUP to join NRM.
“From DP to FDC to ANT and now NUP? Meal card politicians. Next, he’ll go to NRM ” Kakwenza tweeted
Paul Mwiru who never managed to make it to parliament in the 2021 polls has so far been a member of four different parties. He was once in the Democratic party which he left to join the Forum for Democratic Change. He never settled there for long and decided to join Mugisha Muntu’s ANT towards the 2021 polls.
He has now surprised many when he decided to oscillate once again this time joining the National Unity Platform less than 3 years since he joined ANT.
According to a statement released by now his former party the ANT, it partly read that the party only got to know about his departure in the media as he never informed them but wished him good luck.
Paul Mwiru attributed his departure from ANT to a lack of a clear direction by the party and being too weak to cause the desired change in the country.
