Getting comments from Nebbi Town SS deputy Headteacher Philip Okumu proved futile as he received the call but later declined to speak saying he was busy in class.
“Yes pliz, I’m busy in class, yeah.”, Okumu said.

The deputy headteacher said the certificates went missing when they were not in the school and the school is struggling to come out with a clear statement”, Said Saidi before adding that together with the Nebbi Municipal education department, they are going to ensure that the issue is sorted amicably without escalating.
The Nebbi Municipal education officer Innocent Openjtho urged the students to lodge the complaints formally to the municipal education department.
He blamed people for making consultations in the wrong place.
“We are now interesting ourselves into the issue of the missing certificates. We call upon the students and parents to come to our office and lodge their complaints formally .some times they go to the District Education department about the issue that should be handled by the municipal education department.” He said.
