Bobi Wine, Kagabo ignores to shake hands at opposition workshop in Munyonyo

The office of the leader of the Opposition organized a 3-day workshop at Speke Resort Munyonyo aimed at making consultations about constitutional and electoral reforms. #WhisperEyeNews

The workshop attracted a number of Opposition political players from all the top parties like FDC, NUP, and DP, among others. Hon Robert Kyagulanyi the National Unity Platform President was also present giving a powerful speech at the event.

However, what caught the attention of many was Kyagulanyi’s refusal not to say a word or shake hands with Hon Twaha Kagabo the Bukoto South NUP MP.

This comes at a time after Hon Kagabo recently joined the MK movement a pressure political group led by the 1st Son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba a by default opponent to Hon Robert Kyagulanyi by virtue of being the son of sitting President Gen Yoweri Museveni as well as a man who has expressed interest in becoming the next president of Uganda.

Kagabo never looked like he minded about the incident especially after he recently declared not to stand on the NUP ticket in the 2026 polls citing greed, envy, and unclear targets by the NUP top leaders.

To NUP, Kagabo betrayed the struggle by siding with Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba a son of a leader who has ruled Uganda for close to 4 decades with allegedly an iron hand.
