Today, the RDC Kibaale District Afande Angalia Godwin Chaired Malaria District Task Force meeting with Officials from Ministry of Health.

The Uganda ministry of health has embarked on distribution of free long lasting insecticide treated Mosquito nets in Uganda.

In April, Kibaale registered 1,830 confirmed cases of Malaria, and recently the District received 198,520 Mosquito nets and plans for distribution has kicked off with high gear.

The RDC warned the distributors not just to dump or sell the Mosquito nets and cautioned the beneficiaries to utilize them for a better health.

He cautioned them to ensure they hide to the ministry of health guidance and sleep under the said mosquito nets and curb the spread of Malaria because Malaria kills.

Uganda government every year gives out mosquito nets country wide.
