“We have no elections in Uganda but auction markets”, says Besigye

Former 4-time Uganda Presidential candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye has come out to say that there are no elections in Uganda but rather auction markets where the highest bidder wins an elective office.

Besigye says that during elections for one to win, you have to carry bags of money to the electorate to bribe them so that you can be voted into office and this explains why many politicians are stealing with impunity simply because they must grab as much loot as possible to be able to give handouts to the voters.

Besigye who has been away for over 2 months while receiving medical treatment abroad said that he has come back in full gear ready to fight on and throw down the government of Gen Museveni which is so corrupt.

“I am 67 years old and in 3 years time, I will be 70. GEN Museveni and his government are going to feel my presence in these coming 3 years because am taking on the bull by its horns.” He said.

Kizza Besigye continues to enjoy the political support of Ugandans although he ignored to stand in the last elective political elections which saw President Museveni declared winner although no opposition leader accepted the results.
