NTV journalist Edward Muhumuza dies in a single fatal motor accident along Entebbe Expressway

NTV Uganda journalist Edward Muhumuza (32) died on spot in a motor accident happened today morning on Entebbe Expressway. #WhisperEyeNews

According to the PRO of Traffic and Road safety Directorate ASP Faridah Nampiima told Whisper Eye News that; ” Traffic police in Entebbe has this morning, 25th March, 2023, registered a single fatal accident at around 0820hrs at Mpala opposite Mpala Road Toll along Kampala-Entebbe express highway”.

The deceased was driving him self in motor vehicle registration No. UBG 323S (Passo).

“It’s alleged he (Muhumuza) lost control of his vehicle and went off the road, knocked sign post and overturned several times, killing him on spot,” says ASP Nampiima.

“The cause of the accident has been attributed to over speeding. However, more Inquiries are still at hand,” she added.

His body has been conveyed to City Mortuary for postmortem examination.
