Uganda security strengthened on Busia, Malaba border posts to curb a potential spillover from Kenya protest

Information on our desk shows that Ugandan security has been beefed on the crossing points to Kenya at Malaba and Busia to avoid any occurrence of Kenyan protests spilling into Uganda. #WhisperEyeNews

The high command resolution was passed after intelligence units said that they had information that the protests led by Raila Odinga in Kenya scheduled for 20th March on Monday may endanger Uganda’s security as some opposition politicians may jump on the bandwagon to fuel protests in the country.

According to one of our trusted sources within the corridors of power, there is a possibility that Dr. Kizza Besigye may be surrounded tomorrow morning if he is in the country.

Raila Odinga called for mass protests on 20th March across Kenya showing dissatisfaction with how William Samoei Ruto is leading the country. Odinga has on many occasions said he is the real President of Kenya and vowed to enter State House by force.

We shall keep you posted.
