Hon Odonga Otto intercepts truck transporting illegal charcoal, deflates its tyres

Former Aruu County MP Hon Odonga Otto is spending his time well after his 20-year Parliamentary life. Mr. Otto was today filmed deflating the tyre of a truck loaded with bags of charcoal near Ogom trading center in Ogom Sub County, Pader District, along the Gulu-Kitgum highway.

Otto was heard in the video asking the truck driver to present the license that permits him to transport the charcoal only for the driver to give mere explanations than presenting it.

Otto said he was acting as a concerned citizen following the failure by the local leadership to enforce a ban on illegal commercial charcoal trade announced by State Minister for Environment, Ms. Beatrice Anywar.
