Gen Muhoozi calls for Uganda – Rwanda collective defence pact

UPDF General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has today called for much more understanding of Rwanda and Uganda militaries. #WhisperEyeNews

Collective Defence pact means that an attack against one Ally is considered as an attack against all Allies.

Gen Muhoozi currently a special presidential advisor took to his Twitter account to express his prayer to see Rwanda and Uganda militaries technically become one.

Gen Muhoozi tweeted ” My father, President Kaguta Yoweri Museveni, and my uncle President Paul Lagame are the greatest Presidents in Africa for a very simple reason.”,

“They both built the two best militaries in Africa. UPDF and RDF! We should sign a treaty of ‘Collective Defence’ as soon as possible!” Gen Muhoozi added in the same tweet.

Last year Gen Muhoozi led to reopening of Rwanda border to Uganda after cold relations between the two countries over various issues.

He has since increased his opinions towards Rwanda and It’s president Gen Paul Kagame, whom he refers to as Uncle.

The son of President Museveni has also spear headed his much efforts to replace his aging father Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as president of Uganda.

He faces an uphill task opponent from Singer cum politician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu commonly known as Bobi Wine who many of his supporters believe defeated Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in the last 2021 elections.
