Muhoozi, Museveni panic as Bobi Wine & Kizza Besigye shake Kampala

The United Forces of Change led by NUP president Hon Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert alias @HEBobiWine and former FDC president retired Col Dr. Kizza Besigye Kifeefe @KizzaBesigye1 on political fire. #WhisperEyeNews

On Saturday the 31st of December 2022 had joint prayers outside Nsambya Sharing Hall in Kampala after police and security organs closed the hall to block their access.

The two now leading Uganda’s opposition giants each pulled crowds of people across Kampala city to Nsambya Sharing Hall where the end-of-year prayers had planned to take place.

This found new union has left President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni and his first son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba shocked ahead of 2023 which Dr. Besigye called a tough year for president Museveni and his entire family.

“Against all odds, the heavy police/military deployment, and blockade of our venue, we still did what we intended,” says Dr. Besigye.

“One, thank and praise the Lord for bringing us this far in our struggle for freedom. Two, pray for God’s favour as we enter 2023 when United Forces of Change push for change!” He explained.

Mr. Wine called upon all Ugandans to wake up and join hands to unite against president Museveni and his regime.

“After illegally blocking our Prayers at Nsambya Sharing Hall, we went ahead and held them outside the closed gates. I’m sure God heard our prayers- what is left now is for us to do our part!” Mr. Wine said.

“The cowardly regime enforcers have arrested over 20 of our comrades for simply coming out to pray and stand in solidarity with us. We are coming together as the United Forces Of Change. God willing, we shall accomplish the mission,” he added.

The opposition declared 2023 a year of united efforts against president Museveni and his regime.

By press time Police had arrested and released 21 political activists and held one activist identified as Sky Sojah on other chargers.

The deployment that day was a clear indication that the state would not stomach any chances of Bobi Wine and Kizza Besigye on the same trail, tears gas , and live bullets were the order of the day, and police brutality was witnessed.

Uganda will be embracing 2023 as a year when political temperatures will be high, Kizza Besigye has insisted on several platforms that, the only way to end president Museveni’s rule is through a mass protest, unlike others who think an election can achieve the same motive.

President Museveni is mandated under the constitution to hand-pick his choice for Uganda’s electoral commission head, a body mandated to organize and declare a winner of the presidential election.
