Dr. Eng Silver Mugisha set to speak about NWSC service efficiency

Dr. Eng Silver Mugisha, the Managing Director of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (@nwscug) NWSC, Uganda is set to speak to Ugandans in a Twitter space. #WhisperEyeNews

The space will be hosted by Canary Mugume a journalist with NBS Television this coming Tuesday 20th December 2022.

Dr. Eng Silver Mugisha will be discussing a topic named ” Is NWSC providing services efficiently? How has Uganda’s digital transformation enabled NWSC to deliver?

National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) is Uganda’s largest urban water authority providing potable water and sewerage services in 262 towns, with a customer base of 900,000 connections serving approximately 18 million people, according to its statistics posted on its official news website.

Established by Decree No. 34 of 1972, the principal business of the Corporation is to operate and provide water and sewerage services in areas entrusted to it by the Government, on a commercial and financially viable basis. 

This year NWSC marked 50 years of its contribution to the government’s sustained efforts in promoting the country’s socio-economic transformation and industrialization growth. 

NWSC Managing Director Dr. Eng Silver Mugisha attributes the corporation’s success to its hardworking staff, customers, and support from the Government of Uganda, and the Ministry of Water and Environment among many other stakeholders. 

The space will be live for all come from 4:00 Pm-6:00 pm, Lwengo District Chairman Ibrahim Kitata will be a co-guest, it will be coordinated by the youth Advocacy Foundation Uganda.
