It’s 2026 or never for Muhoozi to be Uganda’s president, says MP Kabanda David

Kasanda MP Hon David Kabanda (@DaudiKabanda) who also doubles as the chief strategist for the MK army has today said that Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba must appear on the ballot paper in the 2026 polls or else it will never be.#WhisperEyeNews

According to Kabanda, Gen Muhoozi is 48 and if he doesn’t appear on the ballot come 2026 and waits for 2031, he will be less marketable especially in the eyes of the youths since he will be at least 57 an age seen as too old.

Kabanda said that as the MK army, they are doing all what is possible to make sure that the 4 star General takes power come 2026 and discussions are already going on with the team Mzee of Gen Museveni to reach an agreement that will see Museveni step down for Muhoozi to avoid parallel tensions that may tear the two sides apart.

Kabanda added that as of now Muhoozi is still a serving military officer whom they expect to retire with time to come further adding that the MK team is simply laying fertile grounds so that by the time he leaves the army to join the elective politics, most of the groundwork is done.

Hon David Kabanda, Mr Frank Gashumba and Businessman Balaam Barugahare are the three main MK army leaders who were tasked to make sure that all goes well for the 4-star General come 2026.

As we report, grass root structures are being set up in every village of the country following the successful elections of mobilizers and region leaders at the Uganda Museum in Kampala recently.
