President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi of the DRC on Thursday met with a delegation of Rwandan speaking Tutsi Congolese on the issue of their security and protection of their rights as a avenue to end the conflict with Kinshasa. #WhisperEyeNews
Tshisekedi assured the delegation that peace with be guaranteed and no Tustsi Congolese will be mistreated or denied his fundamental human rights whatever the case adding that all Congolese no matter their origin will live in harmony cohesion and without any discrimination.
“All Congolese whatever their tribe or ethnic will by all means have the same rights and freedom. However Congolese Tutsi or Hutu should demonstrate that the interests of Congo come first before those of Rwanda.” Tshisekedi said
The meeting comes at a time when Uganda’s millitary General who also doubles as the Presidential Advisor on special operations Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba urged that the M23 a Tutsi dominated fighting group in Eastern Congo are not enemies of the ruling Kinshasa government but only fighting for their rights as they face discrimination and feel unwanted in the DRC.
