Tragedy as Salaama school for blind set on fire by unknown people, 11 pupils dead

Salaama School of the blind was set on fire last nite at around 1..00 am reports on the Whisper Eye desk indicate.

It’s now confirmed that 11 pupils have died and 7 got serious burn injuries.

The victims are only girls according to the administration.

The school is located in Ntenjeru Kisoga Town council Mukono district

Kyembuga Florence a woman councilor representing Ntenjeru – Kisoga told Whisper Eye that it’s very unfortunate that the girls have lost their dear lives,

“Princess Anna and her husband the daughter of the late queen Elizabeth were set to visit the school this Friday 28th October 2022.”, Kyembuga said.

Police are yet to speak on what caused the fire.
