Akampa Tanbull: Museveni still has Hydro Power better option for 2026 than a generator that needs fueling all the time

Well, as work towards Uganda’s social economic development and East Africa’s integration.

The debate of who should replace President Yoweri Museveni Tibuhaburwa come 2025/2026 general elections keeps on moving with in collidors of not only power holders, political parties including National Resistance Movement (NRM) party members but also in us the NRM peasant farmers.

New political parties are being formed, others especially the old ones like Forum For Democratic Change(FDC), UPC, NUP are in covert or secret talks day and night looking for a potential replacement for Mr Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

Where as the son, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba was recently retired from the the Position of Commander Land Forces, some political analysts have viewed this as a move to bring him into active politics and even some calling him the Stand by Generator waiting to take Charge come 2026 but me and some colleagues of mine in NRM think otherwise.

We believe that 2026 is too early for Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba to take charge as CiC of this great nation because President Museveni still has stamina to stir this Country towards middle income as well manage the geopolitics and all the politics surrounding the Country’s mineral Oil, the EACOP must come to life and we share devidends as a Country.

We really trust hydro power(UMEME) than a generator that needs more fueling all the time. NRM should not be divided by mere concerts and birthday celebrations. We can only focus on the social political transformation of our people, those of East Africa and uniting Africa atlarge ( Pan Africanism), we therefore call upon all NRM supporters that let us consolidate our party membership and prepare structures to enable President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa appear on the ballot paper and continue with the unfinished business.

Others can wait for 2032 and beyond, infact a standby generator can be sent to Royal Institute For Public Adminstration and Management or even serve in the office of National Chairman of NRM as a mobiliser for President Museveni come 2026.

For God and My Country Uganda.
