The army, state of Uganda is under captivity by Museveni’s family , says Kizza Besigye

Former Forum for Democratic Change President Rt Col Dr. Kizza Besigye @Kizzabesigye1 has come out to state strongly that no one is free in the country including the army because every institution in the country was captured by Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and his family.

Speaking to this media via a phone call, Besigye said he doesn’t get surprised by the un human acts of the men in Uniform and plane cloth security forces who go on making illegal arrests of citizens and brutalizing others during peaceful demonstrations because they simply get orders from Gen Museveni.

Besigye added that the capture of the state and the men in uniform is evident in the way the President’s son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba behaves while still a serving military officer.

According to Besigye, had it been any other officer who behaved the way Gen Muhoozi does, he would be arrested and court-martialed for acting unlawfully contrary to the UPDF act and its code of conduct.

“You all see how Gen Muhoozi is behaving using his Twitter handle speaking very sensitive matters that can easily lead to unrest with the neighboring countries. Had it been any other officers, the actions would be different. Museveni went ahead to promote his son in appreciation of his indiscipline. Ugandans should wake up. ” he said

Besigye further adds that during the pipping ceremony of Gen Muhoozi to the rank of a 4 star General, the ranks were embedded on him by his wife and his uncle Gen Salim Saleh who is in fact a retired military officer yet a full CDF Gen Mbadi was simply looking on.

Besigye concluded by asking Ugandans to use any means possible to gain their freedom back because if they keep relaxing, signs are clear that Gen Museveni wants his son to take over after him.
