Following his promotion to the rank of the a full 4 star General and also dropped from the position of commander land forces, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba while addressing his supporters at Bombo Military Stadium has said that he is now a little bit free from duties and thus has some time to interact with the people especially the youths.
Muhoozi was today pipped officially to the highest rank in the UPDF army with many of his supporters asking him to start preparing for his 2026 presidential bid.
Forlong the 4 star General has also expressed his desire to take over from his father as commander in chief to steer the country to further development, progress and prosperity.
He however did not state if he has intentions to retire from the army but our sources within the army told this media that this is something that will be done in early 2025 to allow him freely campaign should his father Gen Museveni decide not to stand for another term.
Muhoozi is very popular especially among the NRM fraternity who see him as a stand by generator who will take over from the ageing Museveni who looks not to be able to push on for so long from now.
