• Chief registrar of Judiciary Anne Amadi administered the Oath of Allegiance and the Oath of Execution of the Office of the President to Dr. Ruto at 12:45 PM.
• Ms. Amadi administered the oath in the presence of Chief Justice Martha Koome, Attorney General Paul Kihara Kariuki.

First Lady Rachael Ruto was also by Ruto’s side.

In the presence of AG Kihara, Dr. Ruto then proceeded to sign the certificates of the oaths of office.

CJ Koome also signed the certificates and presented them to President Ruto.

The new Head of State also received the Chief of the Order of the Golden Heart award, highest accolade in the country.
