“No one will cause me to back down on Uganda Airlines investigations” Hon Ssenyonyi roars

Ssenyonyi roared after he claimed that he received a call from Hon Tom Butime the Tourism Minister who happens to be a relative of the grilled Uganda Airlines CEO Jennifer Bamuturaki whom COSASE found unfit to lead the company.

Ssenyonyi said Hon Butime Tom was ordering him to back off from the matter threatening to harm him if he doesn’t do so.

Following the call, Ssenyonyi ran to Uganda Police Force CPS station where he opened a case against the Tourism Minister.

“Yesterday, I got a call from the Tourism Minister Hon Tom Butime, threatening and intimidating me over the Uganda Airlines investigations, because apparently, Jennifer Bamuturaki is his relative. I’ve reported the matter at CPS (Ref GEF 60/2022) for it to be on record.” He said

Ssenyonyi said that even amidst intimidation from whoever, he will not bow down because he is ready for anything.

“No one, and I repeat, no one will cause me to back down.” He roared
