Boxer Teddy Nakimuli won Uganda’s first boxing medal without throwing a punch! #WhisperEyeNews

Nakimuli progressed to the Semifinal of the women’s light flyweight after her opponent Sara Haghighat-Joo from Sierra Leone reportedly failed to make the weight cut!

All boxing semifinalists get medals. So she still has a chance to win Gold or Silver but if things don’t go well, she will win bronze!

She has become the first Ugandan boxer to win a medal at the Commonwealth Games.
