Two year old child murdered in sheema

The Police in Sheema District have arrested a man identified as Byamukama Justus in connection with the brutal murder of a two and half years child.

Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesman Martial Tumusiime identified the deceased as Christabella Kemigisha a daughter of Nuwarimpa Stella a resident of Mutanoga village, Kigarama Sub County in Sheema District.

Its reported that the deceased disappeared from her grandfather’s home one John Kakuru on the evening of Monday July 18th 2022, but her dead body was Tuesday morning found dumped at the home their neighbour identified only as Constance.

The local council authorities informed the Police who visited the scene of crime and with the help of the sniffer dog, they were led to the home of Justus Byamukama where some exhibits were recovered.

Tumusiime explained that the Police Detectives recovered a blood stained hoe and a wood also stained with blood from Byamukama house which are suspected to have used to kill the young girl.

The Police said that the exhibits will help to pin the suspect as investigations continue to establish the reasons behind the brutal murder of the juvenile.
