Court of Appeal rejects Jailed MPs Ssegirinya and Ssewayana’s bail appeal.

Today morning, the court of appeal had rejected an appeal of jailed Member of Parliament, Ssegirinya and Ssewayana of Kawempe North and Makindye West respectively.

In a ruling delivered early morning the court directed that trial be fixed for the duo.

The court of appeal judicial officers noted that its court lacks jurisdiction to pronounce itself on the matter.

The MPs of NUP were arrested last year oN various crimes related to murders in Masaka region.
