“Our Hero” chants: Welcome home, millions gather to welcome President Museveni in Rwanda a head of Chogm

President Museveni got a heroic welcome during his first visit to Rwanda in five years as the two countries repair fractured relations.

Uganda’s president YK Museveni was received by thousands of Rwandans who took to the street to greet and wave at the leader.

This visit comes five years since President Museveni was a visitor in a country believed to be like Uganda.

Rwanda and Uganda just repaired relations after the latter had closed border for two years.

Thousands lined up immediately President Museveni entered Rwanda through Katuna Border.

Reaching Kigali the capital city of Rwanda hundreds continued to pile up waving and chanting our father ” our leader” and also to catch a glimpse of president Museveni’s large convoy involving dozens of cars.

Whisper Eye has learned that president Museveni is on a four day working visit in Rwanda were he will also attend the

Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (Chogm). 

Gen Pual Kagame the president of Rwanda will meet President Museveni on the sidelines of Chogm in a discussion believed to revolve around the recent development in eastern DRC.
